That is a very good question. I bought the camera second hand and have no idea about its provenance. However, I have just checked and the software reports the good camera as an HDBW4431E-ASE (via the web GUI), even though the label says it is an HDBW4831E-ASE. All I know is that the interface... -

Yes. Also, the rebooting occurs when it isn't connected to anything other than the power supply. I set the camera to DHCP and the IP address assigned by the NVR or my router (depending on what I connected it to) was always unique. When I was doing the tests in the first post nothing else was... -

Dahua IVS functions with Uniview NVR
No ideas at all? At the moment I can think of a cludge that uses the alarm output of the camera connected to the alarm input of the NVR but should this not work over ONVIF or how do these cameras communicate this type of information? -

I am trying to use an IPC-HDBW4831-ASE camera connected to a Uniview NVR302-08E-P8-B. I can set up the IVS functions of the camera , e.g. the tripwire function, from the camera web interface but these only trigger actions local to the camera. The Uniview NVR interface doesn't seem to recognise...
