    Just ask Andy about mounts. I think how you install it is more imprtant than which mount you use. Make sure to sink your bolts into studs. And be certain that your ladder or whatever support you use is rock-solid. You'll have enough to deal with balancing and supporting the camera's weight. You...

    Since I began running 2 20w IR blasters I have seen a noticeable drop in the number of my small to medium sized nocturnal visitors. I'm wondering if they are bothered by these lights. Anyone have similar experience?

    ^^^^^^ I believe polishing away the discolored layer or completely replacing the part are your only options. (short of replacing the entire camera.)
