    I tried resetting as you suggested, but the problem persists. I found a discussion of this cam on this forum and followed the serial connection procedure. It seems the cam is in loop mode and can't boot the operating system. Could it be a firmware issue? Here are the camera logs: IPL g8c66e83...

    Ciao Thank you for welcoming me to this forum. I received an IMOU GP42P camera that doesn't work; the red LED keeps flashing. I hope I can find a way to fix it.
