    Detecting wildlife with Dahua cameras

I Think that option to choose "which" animals is available on the Pro Cameras (like on my T5459-Pro) firmware, but not on the latest (R8) version of the T54IR-S3 cameras. At least that's what I see on my versions.

    Detecting wildlife with Dahua cameras

In the latest webUI, combined with the S3 Dahua (or Andy Cams), you do indeed see "animals" as a choice. I only use the cameras IVS rules as above, as opposed to CPAI or Blue Iris' latest built in AI, so I don't get any tagging as Dog or Cat, etc. The clips just say "Tripline" or "intrusion"...

    Help with UI3 and Tailscale

If I leave BI's IP address (192.168.1.xxx) in BI's webserver fields, and try to connect from outside with Tailscale running, and use TS's IP to connect to UI3, that works fine in or out, but alerts in Pushover show the alert, the thumb, but If I select UI3 or Hi Res in Pushover it tries to...

Powershell Script to Send Pushover Notifications with a Camera's or Cam Group's Current Image

agreed. IF you don't see battery drain, then just leave it on and one shortcut to UI3 will work everywhere.

Powershell Script to Send Pushover Notifications with a Camera's or Cam Group's Current Image

correct. You could turn Tailscale off on the phone, and just flip it on when needing to access UI3 if worried about drain. Tailscale support says it's an issue if running TS as Exit Mode... I do not.

Powershell Script to Send Pushover Notifications with a Camera's or Cam Group's Current Image

I have an Android, and I have not noticed Tailscale running down my charge. It might , I just I haven't noticed or tested. (I did use Zerotier previously, and that also ran full time (well, sometimes after a reboot I needed to turn it back on), but I don't see a difference power wise. I do like...

Powershell Script to Send Pushover Notifications with a Camera's or Cam Group's Current Image

I use my tailscale IP (100.69.xx.xx) in all the webserver fields... the Lan, Adapters, and WAN (though I don't think the WAN one matters) I see UI3 both on my home net (with tailscale running all the time) as well as away from home (again, with tailscale running on laptop, phone, etc) accessing...

Intermittent BI Crashes, usually middle of the night, assistance/thoughts please

BI 6.0.5.0 had issues, including crashes. 6.0.5.1 now posted, fixed that (for me) . That may or may not be your issue, but start there!

Tailscale: access your LAN with BitDefender Firewall and Tailscale

I replaced ZeroTier with Tailscale, easy install, all worked well until I tried to access another PC on my LAN... and I could not. I eventually figured out that BitDefender firewall was blocking LAN traffic when Tailscale was active. Turning off either Bitdefender or Tailscale fixed it, but if...

    Blue Iris UI3

@bp2008: I sometimes try to scrub through a whole night's recordings quickly in the console, but because I have recordings broken into a new file every 2 hours, the scrubbing stops at the 2 hour mark, and I have to re-maximize the camera I'm looking at to continue (and sometimes replace the...

    Blue Iris UI3

yup.. I had group aspect in the console set to 4:3 to give me a better look when clips were showing at left, but that messed with UI3. Thanks :)

    Blue Iris UI3

In UI3, When I right click on any camera (in a group... while live view, or timeline, or clips are selected, ) and choose "Group Settings", all I see is: I can't seem to find any place with the settings choices you talk about... someplace else?

    6.0.3.6 New Logfile Entries

I use Bitdefender. I got the error messages in BI after updates... I had added the blue Iris folder to exclusions in Windows Defender, and blueirisadmin.exe as a process to the exclusions also, and still had the errors. I just added blueIris.exe (in addition to BlueIrisadmin.exe), and the error...
