UniFi G6 Turret mounting hole spacing specs

I finally got around to testing some mounts. The G6 turret appears to have 4 holes in a square pattern on a 70mm diameter. Dahua typically uses 3 holes, but the PFA130-E junction and PFB205W-E wall mount have a 4-hole pattern at 68.5mm diameter. The path of least resistance was to drill out...

    UNIFI—The Best Option...?

I have a T54IR-ZE-S3 on an AI port. For my layout, the daytime human/animal/vehicle SMD is decent within 50 ft, but can be spotty in the 50-100 ft range compared to the camera SMD. Night SMD seems to have serious issues -- at first, I thought it was completely non-functional, but I do get some...

UniFi G6 Turret mounting hole spacing specs

Does anyone have the mounting hole specs for the UniFi G6 turret mount (or presumably G5 turret, etc)? I haven't been able to find any Ubiquiti technical drawings with these specs. I'm looking to setup a test rig once the G6 black turrets eventually ship, and would like to find a compatible...

    2025 New Arrivals From EmpireTech

Do you mean a huge update of the NVR6-XI hardware (I've heard rumors of an XI PRO coming), or do you mean a huge fw update for the current 608-XI hardware?

Select individual IVS rules for push notifications?

I have an IPC-HDW5231R-Z (V2.800.0000018.0.R, Build Date: 2021-07-07) connected to a DHI-NVR5432-4KS2 (V4.001.0000006.1, Build Date: 2021-07-09), and I am running the latest DMSS (1.94.00, Build Date 2020-08-21) on IOS/iPhone via local direct connect to the NVR (no cloud login). I have three...

    New Smart PSS V2.003.0000000.0.R.190802

I googled and found a couple of tweets to @DahuaHQ. The replies from Dahua were that they are expecting to release a 64-bit Mac version of SmartPSS in December. Considering the overall state of Dahua software, I'm just relieved that they haven't decided to kill it and focus on other projects...

    Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

FWIW, I installed 4.000...1 on my DHI-NVR5432-4KS2 (manufacture date Sep 2017) and do not have the relay clicking issue. I haven't gotten around to connecting any alarms, so those settings are all factory default. May be just an issue with the newer revisions of hardware?

    New Smart PSS V2.003.0000000.0.R.190802

@EMPIRETECANDY Any word from Dahua if they will be releasing an updated version for Mac? MacOS Catalina is out and will no longer run the 32-bit version. Thanks

    Review-Dahua SD42212T-HN 2mp Starlight 12x PTZ

I have the Dahua corner bracket, unfortunately the legs aren't long enough to clear the protruding outside corner trim so I can bolt through the PBR panels into some sort of backing.

    Review-Dahua SD42212T-HN 2mp Starlight 12x PTZ

Size and weight differences are worth considering. I have a SD59230U-HNI that has been sitting in the box for over a year because I haven't figured out a good way to mount it on the corner of a metal building due to the weight, and even at 14ft mounting height it looks huge!

    VPN considerations

OP asked, I answered. The only other response the "poor guy" got couldn't differentiate correctly between a VPN server and a client. OP wants both a VPN client and server on his router, if you think my response was over-complicated you should try walking him through the setup for that on an...

    VPN considerations

As cybermech said, you basically will need to setup two VPN systems to accomplish what you want. The EdgeRouterX can be configured to create an outgoing (OpenVPN) connection to one of the PIA servers, and then route all (or certain) LAN traffic that is destined for the internet through that...

I need help with choosing Cat6 cable

I would also recommend the Monoprice bulk cable if you are looking for the best value. Otherwise, I would take a look at the Berk-Tek catalog (here) to see their options, and then call a local electrical/data supply to see what they stock. You may be able to get Berk-Tek cheaper locally than...
