    I have seen glass lenses on AliExpress. You should measure what you need and try to find some on Ali. I have done this to some Autometer gauges as well. They even have those domed ones as well for the wedge cams. You can't install it right under the eve, to protect the camera a bit better?

    Maybe with the new AI stuff, there is no need for a good sensor, AI will generate a good image, from a lower grade sensor(lol).

    Try it with the 12V supply, see if it makes any difference.

    It could be some shorted SMD capacitor. You could test them with an multimeter. Install an exterior better IR light.
