Thread 'limiting false alarms'

Are there any experts on how to limit false alarms on a lorex system .. it's got the "SMART" motion type that appears to work well .. but it seems to be only with regular motion activated ... the regular motion senses way too much (shadows, bugs, wind blowing leaves, etc...) ... if I could just separate the too functions ... tech support is no help, they hire people to read from the manual ... the fine turnings are not in the manual .. the cameras are looking around the house back at the house ... asking a camera and computer to think is maybe over the top ... any comment is helpful in the...
