    Thanks for the reply. Not knowing much about cameras. I take it the metal one would be more resilient to vandal attack then the plastic one. No other difference in regards to performance etc.

    Nvr camera and placement help.

    Hi guys i hope you can help. The kit I want is below. NVR=DS-7604 and camera=DS-2CD2142FWD i have attached a picture of the front of my house. I want to cover as much as I can or at least the front door and garage if someone walks up to it. Do I need a dome camera or is a turret better...
