New CodeProject.AI License Plate Recognition (YOLO11) Module

No, I haven not work on this since the AI integrated in Blue Iris works extremely well. Most likely I will work on the models sometime in the next couple of months.

Need some help with AI false positives

Give IPcam-General a try for both day and night

Need some help with AI false positives

It looks like you are using the Dark model, try the general model with a minimum confidence setting of 75%

    AI detection for thermal cams

Also include people, I will have the model detect both people and animal.

    AI detection for thermal cams

Yes, I would need them saved as a JPEG file

    AI detection for thermal cams

I can most likely train a model that will work. I will need about 500 images with what you want to detect.

    License Plate Setup

There might be a Blue Iris issue with using CodeProject.AI since they have built-in AI, what I can see it should work for you. Have you tried using the built-in AI, it works well, that is what I am currently using.

    License Plate Setup

Try running a test image using Explorer to see if the License Plate Recognition is working also only have one License Plate Recognition enabled

If this camera is just for plate reading uncheck Additional models and Fasial recognition

New CodeProject.AI License Plate Recognition (YOLO11) Module

Uncheck the below, just have License plates checked

Moving from CodeProject.AI to Blue Onyx

Just use Blue Iris built-in AI, it works well.

    Poor AI Detection Speed

Maybe try turning this off to see if that helps, it could be windows is holding back the GPU.

They are the same just different file names.

    Poor AI Detection Speed

I found some of the new drivers did not work well, that might be your issue, I am using the below driver https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/results/257327/

    Poor AI Detection Speed

What model are you using and how many models are being used for the camera? Also make sure you uncheck Use main stream, it does not improve accuracy, it just slow down the detection. Below are the times I am getting with my RTX 5090

Setup to allow NetTime to Work

I had an issue with the cameras connecting to a local NTP server, the fix that work for me was the network needs to be set to private and make sure your firewall is not blocking port 123.

    BI Built-in AI image resolution

All of the models are trained for an input image with a resolution of 640 x 640. The best sub stream setting are 704 x 480 (D1) or 640 x 480 (VGA), I am using 704 x 480 (D1) which closely matches the aspect ratio of main stream

Internal AI Causing Massive CPU/Memory Usage?

No, it will just needs to wait for a detection to finish before the next one starts

    Installed Object Detection (YOLO11.NET)

Did you try this, selecting only one model to see if one model works https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/installed-object-detection-yolo11-net.84708/post-975694

    Installed Object Detection (YOLO11.NET)

Try just using one model, how to select one model shown in the below post. After making the changes reboot CP.AI server, once the CP.AI is up and running reboot the BI server and see if just one model works. https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/installed-object-detection-yolo11-net.84708/post-975694

    Poor AI Detection Speed

It may be using the iGPU instead of your Nvidia GPU, try disabling the iGPU in the BIOS and see if that changes the speed

    Poor AI Detection Speed

Do not use main stream, it does not improve accuracy, it just slow down the detection.
