Solar Wireless Bridge 2 camera recommendations

Figured it would of been easier then this but can see now that it is a bit more to configure and plan. They should add a twirly thing to the top to grab wind, seems there is always wind and combine a wind generator along with the solar and between the 2 would put out a constant charge even at...

Solar Wireless Bridge 2 camera recommendations

Thank you appreciate it. This is my first time to attempt solar. I have a few wireless bridges installed most around 900 feet apart. So familiar with them at least. The cameras I use are 12V POE but they have pigtails in case you dont want to do the POE think then a 12v can be plugged in like...

Will probably end up with 2 poles with 2 cameras on each pole and the office is in the center so that should cover what is needed

Solar Wireless Bridge 2 camera recommendations

Thank you Biggen. That helps a lot. I had figured 100Ah panel might do the trick. Winter is longer dark hours in the day. I would say overall most days 365 have pretty much 10 good hours a day with good daylight and summer more like 13 hours daylight. The Cemetery is wide open so no trees and...

I must be the only one to attempt to install one of these solar systems. I am contacting this company for guidance as their system seems straight forward.

Solar Wireless Bridge 2 camera recommendations

Looking for someone who can suggest a solar panel setup that will power a wireless bridge antenna to a POE switch and 2 possibly 3 4K POE cameras that won't run out of power overnight. Nothing very expensive like we see in some parking lots at large stores or setups like some police use. I could...

New ALPR - Do not want any monthly fee.

You mention free Protect software I can not find that on their site. Is the software built into the NVR you listed? Do you have this setup and if so does it have a database of license plates it captured?

Issue connecting to cameras without a router

Ok guess it threw mw where you said all your devices are wireless in your 3rd post No, I did not connect anything to the new router when I swapped it in. All my devices are wireless. So, the router is just connected to the modem. As for the POE switch. Those cables did not change (camera cables...

ip address not showing in camera list

I missed where you said the cameras are wired to the NVR. In network settings try changing it to DHCP if the IP is Static IP and see if the cameras come up. That would be the easiest thing to try. The NVR has it's own POE output and usually that don't go bad. If your NVR does get a IP address...

Issue connecting to cameras without a router

Don't know if this is resolved or not but you say your cameras are wireless but connected to the poe switch. Assume your only using the poe switch to power the cameras then and not connect to a network with a router? I would assume you need a router no? And you mention you don't need it online...

Corner Mount Bracket Installation Best Practice Advice Request

Even if the bracket goes beyond the stud usually there is 3/4 board on houses except the newer house that use the particle board. Use galvanized lag screws is what I would use. The weight will be on the top lags so if they tighten good then you will be fine if not maybe shove an anchor in then...

ip address not showing in camera list

Just chiming in is the cameras set to static IP addresses? If power failed and rebooted everything maybe the IP address has changed. I use Advanced IP Scanner to see what all is on the network. Best to always jot down the MAC address so it is easier to locate on the IP Scan

Point to Point Wireless Bridge Recomendations

That would work just fine but like others said priced to high. I have a few installed at apartment buildings and they have had no issues and one is around 950 feet away

POE Turret camera for Honeywell HEN16122 model NVR compatible low cost

Anyone familiar with the POE Honeywell NVR model HEN16122 and a low priced turret camera that is compatible with that model NVR? Even a 2MP camera will work it is inside an office so it don't need to be a expensive camera. I find Honeywell makes are picky on what cameras are compatible and what...

Needing an outdoor PoE setup cameras

With bushes triggering motion sounds like you used motion detection. Trip wire cameras are less false triggers. I only deal with 4K cameras with audio. Get a 16 channel NVR with at least 10TB HDD and use 4K cameras.

Point to Point Wireless Bridge Recomendations

I have 2 large apartment complexes with 4K cameras on a wireless Ubiquity bridge. Distance is 825 feet for 1 place and 600 feet at the other. The receiving end I have a 8 port POE switch with uplink and the uplink goes another 200 feet to another POE 8 port switch and there are 11 4K cameras on...

Installing ethernet wire from 14-foot eaves soffit to 8-foot camera height

You have power to the lights if they turn on by light sensor there should be constant power before the sensor, tap off that.

Installing ethernet wire from 14-foot eaves soffit to 8-foot camera height

I have used the 12" boxes and enough room to put a poe switch in it and mounted 3 cameras to get all around view and ethernet cables from camers reach right into the poe switch. Makes easy install of multiple cameras. Just a thought.

Installing ethernet wire from 14-foot eaves soffit to 8-foot camera height

No crawl space above garage? Must have if the other camera is up there. I would try drilling down between the wall and push a fish stick through the insulation and string and try to snag it in a hole with a wire like coat hanger and the camera will cover the hole. Did a couple like that, takes...

    Outdoor POE switch install

I just put weatherproof boxes in large enough to put a 8 port POE switch and electrical outlet inside the box and one I attached the cameras also to the box. The other cameras were external from the box and always use the uplink switches so I can run a cat5 to the next box with a POE switch.

    Ubiquity Wireless Bridge 4K cameras

First Ubiquity antenna is direct into the router and only 1 POE switch at the far end antenna. It should be fine.

    Ubiquity Wireless Bridge 4K cameras

Keeping the bit rate at 4096 so at the 4096 bit rate and the ubiquity bridge can handle 450Mbps I am not a mathematician that was why I was asking.
