    My view is simple, yes don't use for new runs but if my house was covered in it I'd not intentionally rip it all out, I'd replace it as and when I spot issues with particular runs.

    If the Bot is grabbing the updates from the main BI downloads updates page then I've complained on the other BI forum that the download is not always correct but little to nothing seems have been done and the issue still persists.

My BI server sits in the loft/attic space with no keyboard/mouse or monitor connected and I've set it in the BIOS to ignore...

    Gotta agree, not that intuitive but I suppose we've just become used to going to Alerts, swiping down and then entering a cam name, this does eliminate the need to enter the cam name but the beauty of the old method was that I have cams called Drv1 and Drv2 so entering Drv would show the Alerts...

    On my test system I’ve noticed that with the last 2 releases of BI the CPU usage has gone up, is normally 25-35% on my system but after 23 hours of running it’s sitting at 60% Anybody else notice this?

    Thinking about this this would be quite difficult to do as I'd still want an alert if for example a person was in the garden during the day when we are all home. AI facial recognition anyone, that would do it, know a face record but cancel the Alert :) I remember looking at this ages ago...

    Just to add I’m sure I read about somebody using the windows built in feature to span disks and then use the resulting space in BI. Windows will just allocate it a drive letter which you can then configure in BI.

    I've also been tryng I've also been trying to battle this same error: h264_qsv setup failed: 483 for 'streaming 0' check hardware compatibility. I too had a look but couldn't find this setting within Web Streaming, so many thanks, here's hoping it get rid of this message :)

    Wonder why he added these checks to the running code rather than when doing a new install or installing updates. To me that would be a more logical place rather than periodic checks in the running code?

    Try with just the exe name and not the full path, code could be simply comparing against Blueiris.exe ?
