Well, update: I've put BI folders/process to exclusion list of the Defender and rebooted the server and upon start of the console it started the scan of the NAS. It took maybe 20 minutes and now I see past footage, yay! So, questions to experts: Is my db still corrupt? If yes, does repair DB...

Ok, good advises! Will try those. It's all wired, the only bottleneck here is a WAN speed: ATT ADSL.

    Amcreast IPM-HX1and VLAN tagging

Hi guys, I found my old IPM-HX1 wi-fi cam which I had when played with BI years ago. I thought I could use it again for a small area in the house. But issue is it won’t connect with my tagged SSID’s. It connected to a test router without any tagging. Not having much hope for this, just hoping...

Device rejected on brand new Hickvision IP cam

Ok, I fixed an issue by matching camera's factory subnet and only then it allowed me to modify network parameters. I think it's a buggy firmware, no other explanation of this behavior.

Looking for powerful BI server hardware

Ok, for continuous recording I need a ton more space. How many disks or TB do you run? I don’t mind spending extra $ for newer gen of CPU with some extra horsepower for future expansion.

Looking for powerful BI server hardware

I’m curious to know if you’re record all stream from them or triggered events only? Wonder also about space it will need if 24/7 recording… I guess I really may use a NAS to dump footage if I want 24/7 recording.

Looking for powerful BI server hardware

Hi guys, So, if I go with mini-itx board build and i9-10850K with 16 GB of RAM + BI5 with streams I can get a nice performance for 19 cams? Planning to be at 15 fps, 4K res on all, and just events recording, not the whole stream.
