I got 3 cameras IP2M-841B-V3. Two of them go to PTZ preset 1 (or close to it) after e reboot, the 3rd goes anywhere, not where I like it to go. So it always needs to be repositioned. Am I correct that preset 1 is supposed to be the home position? I cannot find anything about it in the manual... -

Meanwhile I thought I could replace the blurry cam under the roof overhang with the one in my garage, that still shows a good image. After 20 minutes on a 4 meter ladder this was done and after cleaning the lens of the camera, most of the blur (if not all) is gone. Anyway it is good enough for...- Rapido

Thank you. Ethernet is available and preferred. WiFi might work as well. No NVR. The camera observes the house door and sends clips to the NAS, when motion is detected. For occasional instant views I use the Onvier app or the PC browser. The IP2M-841B-V3 already has a slightly too wide view...- Rapido

I noticed this morning, that all my 3 IP2M-841B-V3 stopped recording at the beginning of March within a period of about one week. They all upload pictures and videos via ftp to my NAS. That used to work reliably for years. I gave each cam a reboot and meanwhile each cam has created a folder... -

Late reply ... but do you have a micro SD card in that cam? I had similar problems an it turned out that it was by a corrupt SD card. Once removed, camera was fine. -

Not what you asked for but ...: Three years ago I replaced my no longer supported Hootoo Cams with three Amcrest IP2M-841-V3. I use the Onvier App for occasional live view and ftp clips to the NAS when motion is detected. Retrieving the clips is cumbersome and takes time. Then on Amazon Prime... -

I have 3 Amcrest IP2M-841-V3, that I'm also using with the Onvier App. After the recent DST change, that changed the time in Germany from GMT+1 to GMT+2, the PTZ control from within the App did no longer work. The logs showed theses errors: "Wsse authorized time check failed." but as the time... -

Thank you for your thoughts and answers. I brought the cam from the garage to my desk and did the following: gave it daylight --> keeps rebooting disabled "Auto Reboot" --> keeps rebooting use other PS (3,0 A) --> keeps rebooting set it to "Factory Default" --> keeps rebooting I hardly can... -

Thank you, will try another PS and a factory reset as well. Cam has no internet access, so DDoS is unlikely. WiFi connection is usually sufficient, but not optimal. So I already considerd the recent solar storm to interfere here. Wild guess. -

Thank you wittaj. I just remembered the camera log and found out while looking it up, that the cam is periodically rebooting, thereby obviously turning the light on/off. So what might make it reboot over and over again? Poor power supply? -
