BI not triggering recording correctly.

I have HikVision cameras and I am having problems getting my triggering correct. It will record an event but the beginning and the end get cutoff. The event just appears and then continues until the event just disappears. Like its missing the beginning and the end. I have experimented with tiggering and record camera settings but cant get it right.
Any help appreciated.

@johnyfalco In Blue Iris, open the properties for the camera in question, and go to the Record tab. Set Stream buffer time and Pretrigger record time to something like 20 seconds. This should solve the beginning getting cut off of your recordings. Then go over to the Motion/Trigger tab. Under Timers, set End trigger if not triggered within to something like 180 seconds, and Maximum trigger/alert duration to something like 1800 seconds. This should solve the ends getting cut off of your recordings. The Blue Iris defaults for these settings are ludicrously low IMHO.
