Has any ever been able to get their Hikvision cameras to work with iCamSource that only uses the http protocol? I've tried just about everything with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what iCamSource is, but Hikvision cameras provide JPEG images at this address: http://192.168.0.100/Streaming/channels/1/picture
That uses http, but it does require authentication. Also the frame rate is limited to 1 FPS and the compression is not very good for streaming to mobile devices. But it is better than nothing if you don't want to use a more advanced app.

Actually that works nicely. Thanks!!! Would be nice for a video stream but I guess I cant be picky.

At this time I don't have a computer to adequately run blue iris efficiently. I looked into the software and it calls for an i7 processor and about 8gb of ram. So this is just a fill until I decide to either buy an NVR or upgrade my PC. Honestly I'm not sure of which path to go with yet.
