Theres a good chance nobody with a working wanscam knows how to get those for you.

You are right about that. However It appears to have no hardware reset and I can't connect via http. However I can conncect via telnet. The username is root and the password is 123456. So I can send the broken files to myself by telneting onto the camera and using /system/system/bin/ftp to ftp the files. that seems to be the only way
that I can replace them.

Anyway thinking about your reply (and thanks for that) I wonder if one can use telnet and ftp to reflash the firmware. Any Ideas?

Nope, no idea. It may be possible but you'd have to ask wanscam support and even then you'd be lucky to get the answer you are looking for.
