I am afraid the opportunity here was lost, or very close to it. This was an opportunity for the people to take back their country, to become a prosperous, educated, and world contributing country once again, that Persia used to be. But when the people witness
thousands slaughtered and more dissappear, the feat that was instilled into them, works.
