Yes, after the update, the camera will switch from active to inactive, allowing you to set a new password. You only need to update the firmware, nothing else.
Hi Everyone, Recently moved into a new property with 5 year old Hikvision system with DVR and analog cameras. Needed recording of 2 days back. Tried the password reset tool but that doesn't seem to be working. Getting the error "Device process failed. Please contact the system manufacturer.."
