T5442T-ZE vs T54IR-ZE-S3

I have 4 x T54IR-ZE-S3's and now 6 x T5442T-ZE's

I have several spots with older 2MP HDW2231R-ZS which have no audio.

This spot for example I want to upgrade to have audio. The picture quality is fine currently, but this is a very frequently viewed camera. Should I go S3? Should I save the S3's for low light areas?

Hard to say how much improvement you'll see, but if a 5442 over a 2231, then Yes I would, if you want to keep it in color at night

People don't seem to understand just how much light you need to get a good quality image in color at night. Even with S3's

I upgraded this camera today, it got a decent bump. Will post a night shot when it gets dark! Its a 5442

Probably hard to tell on the forum, but the pebblestone concrete really gives the increased resolution away

Next candidate is this camera, here is day and night and then bedtime where some more lights get turned off

I think this could be an S3 candidate
