Unable to connect to Tapo TCW61

I have tried various things. Here is my current settings:
brand - TP-LINK
model - GENERIC (my model is not on the list)
hostname - 192.168.x.xx
port - 80
protocol - RTSP over TCP
rtsp port - 554
https - unchecked
username - from tapo app
pw - from tapo app


Any help is greatly appreciated - I am new to cams.

Are you wanting to add the Tapo camera to Blue Iris?
If so, you're not in the BI forum and also nowhere did you mention Blue Iris. Anyway, if that's the case, read below where I connected a C110 to BI but it should work for your TCW61, according to TP-LINK.

Oh god that sounds like a pain in the ass running Ispy and all that. I do not want to run through RTSP

OK, I got a TP-LINK Tapo C110 last week and have it streaming RTSP to Blue Iris 5 and also VLC. Not bad looking for a $25 wireless only, little cam with 2-way audio and selectable 720p/1080p/2K resolution.

As I stated in post 6, no iSpy needed. Here's how:

Sorry I am trying to use tinyCam on a FireCube to show the camera. Forgot to mention that.

The following URL displays the main stream using VLC, try it with TinyCam. Use "stream2" for the sub stream.
NOTE: Be sure to place two "/" after "rtsp:" as the forum software won't allow two to be shown here consecutively.

Also:
If you are unable to get the Tapo RTSP stream to play in TinyCam Free or TinyCam Pro in the Fire Cube, consider installing VLC (free) on the Fire Cube.
